Hi There Again my real Name is Mr Cannadine T. Boxill-Harris, I have another interesting idea for most of you Class 507, Class 508, Class 313, and Class 314 and that also includes those interesting Class 315 Fans out there, rather than scrapping most of those Class 507, Class 508, Class 313's Class 314 including the Class 315's maybe you guys can convert them. Including the refurbishment into the Volvo TD102KF Engine Leyland 680 Engine, Volvo B10M Engine, Scania N112 Engine, Cummins M11 Engine, Gardner 6LXC Engine, Gardner 6LXB Engine, Gardner 8LXB Engine, Class 507, Class 508, Class 313's, Class 314's and the Class 315's and convert all of them into a 2 Carriages and Three Carriages of the Class 313's, Class 314's and that is including those Class 315's for most of us Class 314 and Class 315 Diesel Train Fans Pretty PLEASE. Are you still going to do this interesting type of Project for all of us out there Please?
Now 30 years ago 🙌🏻
Certain locomotives of the 1950s such as the ns 1100,1300 and ns 1000 including all older electric trains do not appear to have a horn
Weird to think that Class 153's are now beiny preserved
Brian Thomas is the owner of the engine.
The engine carries the chime whistle since 1984.
Ecellent😊
Just noticed this day is my friends bday and my bday is on the 16th lol In 2002 we both would have been 11 - or should i say i would have been 10.99🤣
Looks like a turbostar, sounds like an electrostar. Such a beautiful family of trains. My favourite livery still remains the 170 in One livery, but ironically, this was the first out of any of the family i ever traveled on when my late uncle took me & my brother to Southend 🥲💭 Since then tho, i cant hide the fact that i love all the electrostars that came along including the 375, 377, 378 (not as much) 379 & 387 excluding the 376 which i think is the ugly sibling out of the bunch😂 Edit: realised I didn’t mention that they are not only electros and turbos but the capitalstar is also a sibling, and i missed out the 168, 171 & 172
The class 376 looks like the result of class 357, 375, 378 having a thresome
At 3:27 is 1698, one of the 411/6 based at Brighton. These were fitted with Mark 6 motor bogies and B5(SR) trailer bogies, also the 412 units in the video had these. They were probably the smoothest riding of the mark 1 express EMUs - much better than those with Commonwealth bogies.
A lot more pleasant and comfortable than the junk we have to put up with now.
Crown Vic at 12:50 and a brand new Town car not long after. I think everyone in Miramichi owned one at one point
PRODUCTIONS
Tyseley 'Warwick Road' Signal Box together with the signals it controls was relocated from Holesmouth Junction Bristol
Most of the engines seen in this video are no longer owned by SCR they only own five now 217,218,219,222 and 228 the rest either went to L&I or NBSR
Thank you for sharing, David Othen! At the 26 minute mark, it looks like it is a Canadian cab class SD40-2 pulling Direct Rail Services class 66s for the UK. The class 66 is basically a dual cab SD40-2 built for British loading gauge and standards! Great to see the SD40-2 pull its foreign derivatives! I have been to the USA and have seen the SD40-2s in person. In the UK, I do come across the Class 66 freight trains a lot.
You certainly have ugly ducklings. I will say, this is my opinion from across the pacific. I do respect those who admire them from a historical perspective as having a passion for their past history. Well done. Got a soft spot for those 37 class PIGS though......................
Amazing 🤩
This is the 2 car class 150108 that is new 🆕 to the West Midlands in central England 🏴 perhaps 🤔. It’s a gangway within unit. Very trustworthy trains 🚊 in the world 🌎. I like 👍 the class 150 trains 🚊 is because they are comfortable and warm inside containing central heating. The countryside railway 🚃 stations 🚉 are lovely ☺️ is because they are quiet 🤫 such as shhh 🤫 🤐 . When the class 150 trains 🚊 were brand new 🆕 in the years between 1984 and 1987, they were in the BR - British 🇬🇧 Rail 🚃 🚆 livery says sprinter on the side of the trains 🚂 🚆 🚊 . Class 150 trains 🚊 are used for provincial services at present 💝 since brand new 🆕 are currently in the southwest, west, plenty parts of the north of England 🏴 , West Midlands in central England 🏴 and finally Wales 🏴. In the past, the class 150 trains 🚊 have previously been allocated to th3 capital city 🌆 of London in the south of England 🏴, east Anglia in England 🏴 and finally Scotland 🏴. Now at present 💝, class 150 trains 🚊 are currently allocated to 4 separate train 🚊 companies are GWR - Great Western Railway 🚃 , LNWR - London Northwestern Railway 🚃 , NT - Northern and finally TFW - Transport For Wales 🏴. Class 150 trains 🚊 will stay with TFW - Transport For Wales 🏴 until around perhaps 🤔 Saturday 31st May 2025 at the latest when they are replaced by brand new 🆕 trains 🚊 are are honestly hoped to be transferred to other train 🚊 companies are GWR - Great Western Railway 🚃 , LNWR - London Northwestern Railway 🚃 and finally NT - Northern. This is the 1 single car class 153 DMU - Diesel ⛽️ Multiple Unit trains 🚊. Although class 153 trains 🚊 are only used for rural branch lines in Scotland 🏴 is named SR - ScotRail and Wales 🏴 is named TFW - Transport For Wales 🏴. Please 🙏 bring back BR - British 🇬🇧 Rail 🚃 🚆 . Privatised train 🚊 companies are very embarrassing 😳 🙈 confusion that can happen to railway 🚃 staff and passengers that use the trains 🚆. At present 💝, class 156 trains 🚆 are used for NT - Northern and SR - ScotRail. Class 158 trains 🚊 are used for EMR - East Midlands Railway 🚃, GWR - Great Western Railway 🚃 , NT - Northern, SR - ScotRail, SWR - South Western Railway 🚃 and finally TFW - Transport For Wales 🏴. By around the end of May 2025, class 158s will be withdrawn from TFW - Transport For Wales 🏴 and are hoped to be transferred to GWR - Great Western Railway 🚃 when brand new 🆕 trains 🚊 are delivered to the company. The class 140 - 144 pacer trains 🚊 have been withdrawn from service part of BR - British 🇬🇧 Rail 🚃 🚆 since May 2021 in Wales named TFW - Transport For Wales 🏴. All of these trains 🚆 are standard class accommodation only, toilet 🚽 🚻 in the DMSL - Driving Motor Standard Lavatory 🚻 🚽 , central heating , no smoking 🚭 accommodation, luggage 🧳 rack, second generation DMU - Diesel ⛽️ Multiple Unit, comfortable seats 💺 💺 💺 and have electric ⚡️ passenger doors 🚪. 👍

I once went to Scarborough from Eccles in the late fifties on one of the DMUs. On certain parts of the journey it would reach 70mph but the way it rolled around at times I thought it was going to leave the track,it was so unstable some people were feeling sick. My dad worked on the railway all his life and had got these tickets for us as a special treat,it was one of the first journeys the DMUs did as steam was phased out,I’ll never forget that train ride with my dad and I’m 79 now.
Hello! I know this video is old, but is the DVD still available to purchase? Thanks!
Great documentary of the CBCNS as the end approached for the Sydney line. Thanks for posting this. Many great modelling ideas here.
Shrewsbury as I remember it, all those old lampposts scattered around the yards, the brown bridge from the platforms that carried mail bags to the RM sorting office next door which has been gone since around 2003.
The modern trains do not have the nostalgic aromas and sounds of these older trains. Which is a shame. I'd bring all these older trains back (have them made again, from scratch) if I were Minister of Transportation!
I love the Dart.Because my dad used to take me to grey stones for a day out when I was little via the Dart. And I like the iconic green livery!
Those slamming doors take me straight back to Victoria 1987/88!
What did cn rebuild them for anyway ?
Atlantic Conveyor? Wasn't that sunk in the Falklands War?
